Robert W. Lally, President
Robert (Bob) Lally, a cofounder of LeapFrog, launched the LeapFrog
SchoolHouse division in 1999 and serves as its president. From March
1995 to February 1999, Lally was responsible for finance, accounting,
distribution, production, planning, purchasing, recruitment and
operations as our Chief Financial Officer. Prior to joining LeapFrog,
he was Chief Financial Officer and Vice President of Operations
at the Republic of Tea, where he managed all financial, accounting,
administrative, and operational aspects of the business. Lally earned
a bachelor of science degree in accounting from the University of
Oregon in Eugene, and a master of business administration degree
from The Wharton School of Business in Philadelphia.
Jessie Woolley-Wilson, Vice President of Marketing Programs
Jessie Woolley-Wilson has responsibility for Marketing Strategy and Brand Management, Marketing Communications, Events Marketing, Customer Loyalty, Creative Services, Public Relations, Advertising, Promotions, Strategic Business Alliances, and the Web site.
Throughout her twelve-year career in a broad array of education and service industries, Jessie has held several leadership roles in General Management, Marketing and Business Development. She has extensive experience managing start-ups, turnarounds, and high-growth environments. Prior to joining LeapFrog, Jessie was Vice President of Marketing at collegeboard.com, the interactive division of The College Board. Jessie was part of a three-member team that built MyRoad.com, an innovative company that helped middle school, high school, and college students prepare for college and careers, before it was acquired by The College Board in 2001.
Jessie began her career in education at Kaplan, where she held roles as Regional Area Director of the Southern California Test Prep Service Centers, Executive Director of Pre-College and Pre-Graduate testing programs (PSAT, SAT, LSAT, GRE, and GMAT). She was also President of Crimson & Brown Associates, a diversity recruiting firm and Kaplan’s first acquisition in the career industry. Jessie received her MBA from the Graduate School of Business at Harvard Business School and her BA in English at The University of Virginia. She is a former board member of the Coalition of Essential Schools where she served as the Vice President of the Executive Board, and of Citibridge and Youth Enrichment Services, both education enrichment programs for disadvantaged youth in the Boston area.
Holly DeLeon, Vice President of Sales
Holly DeLeon oversees the four regional sales territories with
a team of over 70 representatives. She joined LeapFrog SchoolHouse
in February 2000 as the first regional manager for the company.
During her three years as the Regional Sales Director for the
Southeast
and Texas, Holly built a team that consistently produced top
sales and growth. Prior to joining LeapFrog SchoolHouse, DeLeon
was Vice President of Sales for Teaching Innovations. Previously,
she was National Sales Consultant with American Airlines Vacations,
a sales trainer with New York Life Insurance Company, and the founder
of Mid-Cities Speech and Hearing Clinic in Fort Worth, where
she
practiced for 15 years. She earned bachelor and master of science
(magna cum laude) degrees in speech and language pathology
from the University of North Texas in Denton.
Greg Long, Vice President of Product Development
Greg Long oversees the creative production of all of LeapFrog SchoolHouse
products. Prior to LeapFrog, Greg was Vice President of Development
at Mattel’s The Learning Company where he was responsible
for creating a myriad of leading educational software titles based
on both proprietary and licensed content including Pokemon, Scooby-Doo,
Sesame Street, Arthur, Reader Rabbit, Oregon Trail, Carmen Sandiego,
etc. Prior to educational software Greg was the creative and business
force behind the creation of a new consumer digital imaging product
line for Delrina Technologies and Creative Wonders. Greg earned
a bachelor of arts degree in economics from the University of Victoria
and a master of business administration degree from Queen’s
University in Kingston, Canada.
Suzanne Barchers, Ed.D., Editor in Chief and Vice President
Barchers began her career as a teacher and administrator, working in primarily urban settings across the country. She also served as education director and deputy director of the Children's Museum of Denver.
After the publication in 1990 of her first book, Creating and Managing the Literate Classroom, Barchers became acquisitions editor for Teacher Ideas Press, a division of Libraries Unlimited. She next developed a line of books for teachers, parents, and children for Fulcrum Publishing, a trade publishing company in Colorado. From 1990 to 1999, she served as an affiliate faculty member at the University of Colorado, Denver.
Barchers has written extensively for the education market, completing two college textbooks, eighteen teacher resource books, more than 50 articles, a geography CD-rom, and a keyboard curriculum. Barchers wrote 23 books for LeapFrog's decodable series, bringing her total number of published books to 43. She is a seasoned speaker, having presented at regional, national, and international conferences. Before coming to LeapFrog, Barchers was Managing at Weekly Reader in Stamford, CT. She also serves on the board of directors for the Association of Educational Publishers (EdPress).
Barchers has a bachelor's degree in elementary Education from Eastern Illinois University, a master's degree in education from Oregon State University, and a doctorate of education in curriculum and design from the University of Colorado, Boulder. |
