The Spanish LeapDesk Workstation

The multisensory Spanish LeapDesk workstation teaches and assesses students on key early literacy skills in Spanish

The Spanish LeapDesk workstation:

• Delivers explicit instruction in letter recognition, phonics, phonemic awareness, and concept of word
• Motivates students with interactive audio feedback that is immediate and constructive
• Encourages self-paced learning so students practice the skills they need most
• Provides clear, consistent and proper human sounds using advanced voice chip technology

The Spanish LeapDesk workstation can be used as:

1. A teaching tool: Students are engaged through touch, sight, and sound as they learn letter names, letter sounds, sight words, and simple decodable words
2. An assessment tool: Teachers can assess students on letter-name recognition, letter-sound association, and phonological awareness and print reports showing student and class performance
3. An adaptive teaching tool: Data gathered in the assessments is used to create personalized lessons for students based on their individual skill level and specific needs
