Assessment Results
In the spring of 2002, third-grade students' assessment results in Florida and Texas were compared in reading and in mathematics as follows:

Students in Florida took LeapTrack™ assessments in reading, and those test results were compared with their test results from the reading portion of the Florida Comprehensive Assessment Test (FCAT); correlated at .69 (p < .000).

Students in Texas took LeapTrack™ assessments in mathematics, and those test results were compared with their test results on the mathematics portion of the Texas Assessment of Academic Skills (TAAS); correlated at .72 (p < .000).
